Mr. Gaga Opening Night with Live Demonstration

To celebrate opening night of the acclaimed new documentary MR. GAGA, Chicago’s very own GAGA dance teacher Anna Long will perform a dance demo & host a discussion after the 7:15pm screening on Friday, March 31st.

Anna Long is a performer, choreographer, and certified Gaga teacher based in the United States. She was raised in Massachussetts and began her dance training with New England Dance Academy of Attleboro. She earned her degree in dance and biology at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She was accepted to the pilot Gaga Teachers Training program in 2011 in Tel Aviv, and trained under Ohad Naharin and members of Batsheva Dance Company.  Anna was a guest teacher for Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, CSU Long Beach, Columbia College  Ate 9, Lee Saar, and Punch Drunk Theatre’s Sleep No More. She has hosted Gaga/choreography workshops in Boston, Chicago, Paris, and Los Angeles. Anna has created works independently at Links Hall in Chicago  as well as on Visceral Dance Chicago, Loyola Marymount College, Dance in the Parks Chicago, Extensions Dance Company, and James Graham Dance Theater in San Francisco. Most recently, Anna has been chosen as a featured artist for Dixon Place’s Under Exposed series in New York City in spring 2017. She currently teaches ongoing Gaga classes in Chicago.
