July 3rd: JAWS (Playing in The Main Theatre at 7pm)

It's the monthly Music Box Drink-A-Long! This month - grab your floaties and your bad hats, because we're drinking along to JAWS! And this time, we're moving out of the Lounge and into the Music Box's Main Theater, so we'll have plenty of room for all you shark freaks! (And film freaks - we'll be screening JAWS on 35mm.) Our hosts Brooke and Cody have created a list of drinking rules to accompany the movie, and they'll be cuing you to drink - by cheerfully yelling at you in the theater.

A cash-only bar will be set up inside the actual theater so you don't have to miss a second of the movie, featuring our specialty Jaws-themed cocktail and a limited beer/wine selection. If you get seasick, you can always step out to our concessions stand or full-service bar for more drink options (or to use a credit card).

Tickets will be available in advance for this screening, so feel free to buy them today to secure your place on the Orca. Even if drinking isn't your thing, you can still join us to scream and shout along! You must be at least 21 or older to join in the fun. See you there!

When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature.
