“They’re Back in Their Mummy’s Arms” goes the tagline for this belly-laugher, the last of Abbott and Costello’s cherished Universal-International outings, which drops the fellas in Cairo, where they bumble into intrigues involving the murder of an archaeologist, acquire an invaluable ancient Egyptian amulet, and become the targets of a mad manhunt, all climaxing with a manic multiple mummy pileup at the Tomb of Princess Ara.

The stooges go to Egypt in search of the mummy of king Rootin-Tootin for which a museum will pay a $5000 prize. They wind up in the mummy’s tomb where they are harassed by some bad guys after the same objective.
