Sophie joins a prestigious tennis academy where the brutality of competitive sports is taken to its extreme and only the hungriest survive.
BLOODY TENNIS is a stylish horror film from the acclaimed producers behind 7500 and Mother Mary. The film features Sandra Guldberg Kampp (“Assassin’s Creed”), Golden Globe nominee Helena Zengel (“News of the World,” “The Legend of Ochi”), Lucie Zhang, Lily Taieb, Tracy Gotoas, Elina Löwensohn (“Schindler’s List”), and Zlatko Burić (“Triangle of Sadness”), with an original score from Jim Williams (“Titane,” “Raw,” “Possessor”). It takes the world of elite sports to disturbing new heights: filled with brutal ambition, blood-sucking leeches, hard-hitting serves, and delicious nightmares.
Music Box Theatre screens films of all genres and from every era of cinema, both new releases and repertory. These films may sometimes contain upsetting, outdated, or offensive material. While we aim to introduce many of our screenings, we do not always provide warnings about potentially triggering content within the films we screen. We encourage our patrons to research the film before they attend using trailers, reviews, or content information found on Common Sense Media, IMDb and DoesTheDogDie.com.
