Friends With Films was started in 2021 by Ashley Thompson and Greg Reigh, two filmmakers who feel that building and being part of a filmmaking community is more important than festival laurels.

Showcasing the works of Chicago filmmakers and Chicago alumni, FwF spans genres, modes, and communities.
