Presented by SUPER-HORROR-RAMA!
December 12 & 13, SUPER-HORROR-RAMA! presents a pair of gruesome locomotive whodunnits programmed and introduced by local creatives and horror aficionados Carly and Spencer Drew Bogart! Holiday plans go off the rails in these frigid fright flicks about killers who assume multiple identities while stalking fellow passengers on speeding trains!
In Horror Express (1972), an anthropologist (Christopher Lee) discovers a frozen humanoid creature that could be the missing link. He boards the Trans-Siberian Express to bring the specimen home for further study and encounters a colleague (Peter Cushing) who wants to know what's inside the crate. The train's passengers soon discover the specimen is possessed by something that absorbs the consciousness of everyone it kills. It's the ultimate blend of The Thing from Another World and Murder on the Orient Express with twists you won't see coming!
We're also screening Terror Train (1980) on Friday, December 12 at 11:45pm!
Every ticket includes a Limited Edition Pinback Button (new design each night), and every show kicks off with Giveaways donated by The Shadowboxery, Cryptid Craft Studio, Night Natalie, Groovy Doom, and Full Bleed Zine for the first folks who answer our trivia questions. The category is locomotive horror, so get ready!
These screenings will also include brand new Animated Ad Galleries created by Bill Van Ryn of Drive-In Asylum, a fanzine exploring classic eras of horror, sci-fi, cult, and exploitation films through vintage newsprint ads!
