Programmed and Presented by Caryn Culp
This is a free event. Limit 5 tickets maximum per customer.
In celebration of a life lived in art, you are invited to this retrospective of artistic endeavors, including music videos from Caryn's The L'80's project, sketch comedy, major motion picture appearances, and Chic-A-Go-Go appearances. Also included are songs written and performed by Caryn and produced by and performed with the much missed Belfast/Chicago musician Joe Cassidy, clips from various films Caryn was and is inspired by, AND the study of neutrinos. This viewing culminates in the debut of Caryn's latest video and final song with Joe Cassidy, Oscillations.
Written for placement on the Netflix series Lucifer and deemed by the music supervisor to be "too spooky" for Satan, Oscillations explores the battle with personal demons. Neutrinos, sometimes known as the ghosts of the universe, also served as an inspiration. They travel through us all so let's share some spooky particles and toast a career of creativity!
Music Box Theatre screens films of all genres and from every era of cinema, both new releases and repertory. These films may sometimes contain upsetting, outdated, or offensive material. While we aim to introduce many of our screenings, we do not always provide warnings about potentially triggering content within the films we screen. We encourage our patrons to research the film before they attend using trailers, reviews, or content information found on Common Sense Media, IMDb and DoesTheDogDie.com.
