Programmed and Presented by John Otterbacher
Gain insight into the process of producing a narrative web series from the producers and filmmakers who made them. Screening and discussion with Q&A, thoughtful questions encouraged.
Ever wondered how independent films are made or maybe you’re an aspiring filmmaker or student who is looking for strategies to take their filmmaking to the next level? Local film professor, John Otterbacher, presents a selection of web-series including award winning projects BARNEY & HERB and EASY ABBY as well as a special sneak peak of other local projects. Web Series and episodic content in general presents a unique set of opportunities and problems when getting your projects to audiences. With Barney & Herb wrapping up it’s festival run and with EASY ABBY standing as one of the most successful LGBTQ+ web series ever, we will discuss this process from conception to distribution.
