This twisty 2003 Korean genre-bender seems prophetic in hindsight, predicting our conspiracy-obsessed post-truth present back in the days before Myspace had really taken hold. The story begins as tinfoil-hat loner Lee Byeong-gu (Shin Ha-kyun) kidnaps wealthy CEO Kang Man-shik (Baek Yun-shik) and straps him to a chair in his basement. Lee is convinced that Kang is an alien from the planet Andromeda sent to destroy the Earth, and will stop at nothing to get him to confess. But Lee is crazy…right? See it before Ari Aster and Yorgos Lanthimos get a chance to remake it.
