A Part of Cinepocalypse 2019 | North American Premiere
Two knights—the experienced Willibrord and the young, mysterious hermit Noname—set off to christen a small pagan village hidden deep in the mountains, only to discover that only the limbs of the previous missionary were left behind. When they reach the village, the pagans put the newcomers’ beliefs to a test. Being a man of the sword, Willibrord does not hesitate in using vile methods to take control of the foreigners minds and souls. Meanwhile, Noname tries to understand the pagan culture, but in the end the story becomes a war between two moral stands, the law of God and human law, and one of these men will have to die. The film is a spectacle made of visuals and atmosphere combined to create a thrilling and mystical epic.
