Friday Night Double Feature | A Part of Music Box of Horrors: Dawn of the Drive-In Presented by Shudder

Although it plays like a TV movie of the week for most of its run time, its heart-stopping finale has given Fire In The Sky a reputation as one of the scariest movies ever made. Based on the true story of UFO abductee Travis Walton, if you’re not already afraid of aliens, Fire In The Sky just might change that. Our second feature, The McPherson Tape, isn’t quite as intense. But the film’s ahead of its time found-footage style—released 10 years before The Blair Witch Project, The McPherson Tape was originally marketed as real home video footage of an alien invasion—contributes to an atmosphere of paranoia and dread that will have you eyeing the stars all the way home.
