A very pregnant Francesca (Patty Duke) travels from LA to Duluth, Minnesota to meet the mother of her deceased husband (and father of her unborn child). There she meets the brittle and creepy Mrs. Kinsolving (Rosemary Murphy), who takes an instant loathing of the poor woman. When a blizzard traps Francesca at Kinsolving's creepy mansion, the young woman is trapped. And things are about to get much worse when the psychotic Kenny arrives (Richard Thomas, John Boy from "The Waltons")!
