​As part of Chicago Climate Week, join Chicago Climate Connect and the historic Music Box Theatre for a special screening of Day of the Animals, a cult eco-horror classic that imagines a world where environmental disruption - in this case, ozone depletion and increased solar radiation - triggers unexpected and terrifying consequences. Equal parts cautionary tale, creature feature, and time capsule of 1970s environmental anxieties, the film explores what happens when nature starts biting back.

The conversation will feature a genetic biologist and horror podcast host, and will be moderated by Mackenzie Siren, horror enthusiast and co-founder of Chicago Climate Connect.
