YOU RANG…? November 13 & 14, SUPER-HORROR-RAMA! gathers the spooky side of your chosen family to set holiday traditions ablaze with creepy, kooky, and altogether ooky late-nite screenings of The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993)!
Every ticket includes a limited-edition pinback button (new design each night), and every show kicks off with speed trivia (Category: Holiday Horror) hosted by John McDevitt, and killer prizes donated by The Shadowboxery, Cryptid Craft Studio, Night Natalie, Kitley’s Krypt, Full Bleed, Drive-In Asylum, and ComicsToYourCouch!
The Addams Family begins as our delightfully morbid clan gathers on their rooftop to pour a cauldron of boiling oil onto Christmas carolers below, and the anti-festivities don’t end there! Wednesday and Pugsley create their own Grand Guignol spin on Shakespeare for their school’s winter pageant and traumatize the unsuspecting normies in the audience, and the Addamses host not one but two family get-togethers, one involving a performance of the Mamushka, a spirited song and dance (with knife throwing!), and the other a costume party that wanders out to the family cemetery for a game of Wake the Dead!
We’re also screening Addams Family Values (1993) on Saturday, November 14 at 11:30pm!
Guest Programmer Bobby Zier is an autistic adult whose passion is Dracula and classic horror. Music Box Theatre screens films of all genres and from every era of cinema, both new releases and repertory. These films may sometimes contain upsetting, outdated, or offensive material. While we aim to introduce many of our screenings, we do not always provide warnings about potentially triggering content within the films we screen. We encourage our patrons to research the film before they attend using trailers, reviews, or content information found on Common Sense Media, IMDb and DoesTheDogDie.com.
